| Day 14/365 (1/14/2012) |
The day began at o'dark-thirty, loading into the truck, joining with Lindsay and Jim, and heading to La Jolla for a surf trip. A couple of hours and three frigid surfers later, we trucked home, bellies full of pancakes and french toast. Thus began my organizing frenzy. Christmas has officially been put away up in the attic (cue 80's Amy Grant Christmas song "Heirlooms"), and all kinds of other organizing went on (so sad to think that there is SO much more to be done). We settled in to watch "Contagion" (not really big fans...fairly slow and meandering) and get caught up on "Alaska Gold Rush." A truly golden day, start to finish!
