In 2010, I set out to capture "A Photo A Day For A Year." I started mid-year on June 18, not a particularly auspicious day...just the one when inspiration hit.
What a journey! To this day, it is a wonder to look back at the blessings of the year, to witness how the Lord provided, the things He did. I witnessed the passing of my Grannie, getting to document her last days and smiles. Family gatherings, heartaches, wild adventures...life.
Is it strange to say that I miss this project? The year wrapped up, and I no longer schlepped my camera with me everywhere I went. It a little bit feels like I lost the drive to notice the "special" in each day, to see the infinite creativity of our Creator. No more.
And so I begin again, this time at the dawn of a new year, 2012. The goal is the same: to post a photo a day to document life in 2012. The journey begins anew; God's providence and miracles are everlasting. And so the story continues...one photo, one day at a time...
